IMPORTANT CHANGE IN TERMS EFFECTIVE 12/9/14

MasterCard® has revised its rules for cardholder liability for unauthorized transfers under their Zero Liability Policy. Under new Policy: You will not be liable for unauthorized transactions using your debit MasterCard if: (i) you can demonstrate that you have exercised reasonable care in safeguarding your card from the risk of loss or theft, and (ii) upon becoming aware of a loss or theft, you promptly (i.e. within two (2) business days) report the loss or theft to us. Accordingly, Provident Bank has revised the MasterCard® Zero Liability section of its Regulation E – Electronic Funds Transfer Disclosure for Consumer Accounts and its Cardholder Agreement to reflect this change.

Revised copies of the Regulation E Disclosure and Cardholder Agreement can obtained by clicking the applicable link herein or at your local branch.
