Phishing Alert - Debit and ATM Cards
We have learned that some customers have received a fraudulent phone call or text from individuals claiming to be from Provident Bank. The caller or text advises the customer that their Debit or ATM Card is either locked or has been closed, and then asks for the account number or card number. This communication is fraudulent, so PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THE CALLER OR RESPOND TO THE TEXT. The Provident Bank will NEVER contact you and ask for any personal or bank information.

Provident Bank response to OpenSSL "Heartbleed" vulnerability
Provident Bank has been investigating the impact of the OpenSSL Heartbleed vulnerability on our online customer services, internal systems, and critical service provider's systems. At this point, there is no evidence indicating any impact on The Provident Bank. As always, if we should determine that customer account information has in any way been compromised, all impacted customers will be contacted immediately.
